REMOVABLE BATTERY
The battery is located underneath the seat and is protected with a key lock. Either charge the battery while installed on the bike or remove it to charge indoors.

Looking bad-ass while not being an outlaw! RUFF CYCLES eBikes are street-legal pedelecs, also called electrically power assisted cycles (EPAC).

Wondering what the difference is between our new EDGE series and the PERFORMANCE series? We are able to help you make your decision.
The Lil’Buddy EDGE is powered by a rear-hub drive by BAFANG. A hub drive motor is located inside the wheel hub. Hub motors are known for their simplicity and lower cost compared to mid-drive motors. They work well with derailleurs, though they may be less responsive than mid-drive motors.

With the Lil’Buddy PERFORMANCE we offer the popular mid-drive solution by BOSCH. A mid-drive motor is located in the bottom bracket area. These motors are known for their consistent power delivery and natural pedaling feel but come with increased complexity and cost.
