Welcome to RUFF CYCLES! These terms and conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and RUFF CYCLES GmbH, a limited liability company incorporated in Germany, registered at the Chamber of Commerce under number HRB12982 in court Regensburg (“RUFF”). These Terms specifically relate to your reservation for a Lil’Buddy EDGE Pedelec Bike (the “EDGE”).

Before proceeding, carefully read and consider these Terms. If you cannot agree to any part of them, we kindly ask you not to reserve an EDGE. In the event that you choose to proceed with a reservation and submit a deposit, your exclusive recourse in case of issues is to cancel your EDGE reservation, entitling you to a full refund.

1. Reservation and Payment
By reserving an EDGE and submitting the €199 deposit (the “Deposit”), you express your agreement to these Terms. Additionally, you confirm that you are either at least 18 years old or possess the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

1a. Payment processing may involve discretion on RUFF’s part, and payments may be declined or returned. Chargebacks will temporarily pause your place in the queue until resolution. No interest or additional fees are paid on refunds.
1b. RUFF will deliver notices through lawful methods or your provided email address. Ensure your contact information is valid to receive essential updates.

2. Reservation Process and Changes
To secure an EDGE, follow the outlined process on our website and make the deposit payment through our payment provider, Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. This payment secures your place in line to receive an EDGE as soon as it becomes available. Cancellation of your reservation is possible before finalizing the purchase, allowing you to seek a refund.
Upon completion of the reserved EDGE’s production, RUFF will request the remaining purchase price. Failure to fulfill payment within a reasonable period may result in forfeiting your place in the queue.

3. Modification of Terms
RUFF maintains the right to alter these Terms at its discretion. Any modification becomes effective upon posting on our website at http://www.ruff-cycles.com. Should any modification prove unacceptable to you, the sole remedy available is to cancel the reservation, resulting in a refund of the deposit.

4. Resale Ban and Cancellation Rights
RUFF reserves the right to cancel reservations suspected of being made for resale or in other malicious intent of any kind. Additionally, we may cancel your reservation and refund the deposit if the EDGE or its features are discontinued after your reservation.

5. Warranty
Limited warranties apply to RUFF products, and the EDGE is sold “as seen” basis. All other warranties are explicitly dismissed.

6. Dispute Settlement
The place of jurisdiction and applicable law is Germany. Disputes will be resolved in the court of Regensburg.
