LONG JOHN / FRONTLOADER
Rider in the back, load in the front
A classic transport bike which has a long tradition. Particularly suited for heavy loads, a Long John rider sits behind the loading area and always has his load in view.

BAKERY BIKE (Bäckerrad) / POSTBIKE
Regular bike with front & rear carrier
A bakery bike is not necessarily recognized as a cargo bike at first glance, but you quickly realize that the sturdy frame with the rear and front carrier offers two loading areas. Due to the division, a Bakery Bike is rather intended for small to medium goods.

COMMERCIAL USE:
In Germany, only the subsidies for commercial eCargobikes are regulated consistently across the country. In addition, some states and municipalities offer further support for commercial eCargobikes:

AUSTRIA

In France, private individuals and businesses receive purchase bonuses on eCargobikes. In addition, the switch from combustion engines to low-emission drives is rewarded. Furthermore, individual Départements and municipalities promote eCargobikes.
